Wheels

This piece was a lot of fun to do.
One day I was contemplating the correlations between art and drafting.
I had spent a majority of my life working in the technical fields as a draftsman and a machine operator.

This is as close as I have gotten to abstract art.

The formulas figure how many revolutions per minute the wheels spin
All of the mechanics of the picture are sound
If you follow the belts you eventually come to the conclusion that you are "just spinning your wheels"
(But now you know how fast!)

The partially obscured warning label reads:
"WARNING!" Maximum sustained rpm must not exceed 75 rpm.
Secondary belt Failure may occur WITHOUT WARNING.
